Project Manager
Are you a seasoned project manager with a passion for driving initiatives in the field of medical diagnostics? We're seeking a skilled individual to join a dynamic medical diagnostics company based in Galway, Ireland, on a 12-month contract. This position offers the flexibility of working 4 days per week, with the option for full remote work for candidates within the UK/Ireland, requiring only occasional visits to the company site (1-2 times per month).
Responsibilities:
Project Planning: Lead the planning and execution of projects related to lab set up and facility expansion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.
Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and contractors to coordinate project activities and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues to minimize impact on project deliverables.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards, implementing best practices for project management and documentation.
Progress Reporting: Prepare regular status reports and presentations for senior management, providing updates on project milestones, budget status, and risks.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements, implementing lessons learned from previous projects.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or related field: PMP certification preferred.
Project Management Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing projects in a fast-paced environment, preferably in the healthcare or life sciences industry.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
Collaborative Approach: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors to achieve project objectives.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address project risks and issues.
Flexibility: Comfortable working remotely within the UK/Ireland and attending the company site in Galway 1-2 times per month.
