Senior Director, Protein engineering

I'm currently representing a large leading pharma in their search for an expert in antibody therapeutics to lead protein engineering and new technology development of antibody drug conjugates (ADC's) and nanomedicines.

This position is based at their site outside of Washington DC, US and will require full relocation. (Relocation support and sponsorship can be provided)

This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of innovation, drive forward new technology development and lead a team of experts within the biotherapeutics space.

Who are you?

• You're a motivational and 'hands on' leader with experience in leading large teams (>30 FTE's) in the biotherapeutics discovery space
• You're a strong communicator. Highly familiar with interacting with KOL's, stakeholders and shaping strategy for new drug technologies
• You're an innovator. Passionate about the field of biotherapeutics with a track record of delivering results within a large pharma environment
• You're a recognized leader with >10 years' experience within large organizations a strong publication background and exceptional experience in protein engineering including the following: site-specific conjugation, linker engineering, antibody design and optimization, protein scaffolds, bi-specifics and other formats
