A leading medical communications agency has an opening for a senior medical writer to join their experienced team in London.
With an impressive track record and in-depth scientific expertise, this highly regarded, international agency works in partnership with top pharmaceutical companies, and is trusted to develop communications programmes that educate, inspire, and drive change in health outcomes.
As SMW you will be responsible for the development high quality and scientifically accurate content across a range of deliverables including publications, meetings materials and educational programmes. You’ll build client and KOL relationships, and ensure projects are delivered on time and on brief.
You will be joining an established editorial team with a supportive structure. As you grow in the role you’ll have opportunities for involvement in scientific strategy on accounts, as well as mentorship and management of junior writers.

Requirements
- Significant medical writing experience within a healthcare communications agency and knowledge across a broad range of medcomms activities.
- Ability to tailor writing style appropriately for different audiences.
- Life science degree, ideally combined with a higher qualification (MSc, PhD)
- Superb working knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong organisation, time management and people skills.
- Proactive working style, ability to work well in a team and independently.
