My client is looking to recruit an experienced Agile Delivery Manager who has a strong Agile background who will be responsible for the facilitation and driving of the overall delivery. Your primary focus will be in supporting a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a portfolio consisting of software solutions, websites, and digital products.

Responsibilities:

  • Organise, lead and motivate a multi-disciplinary team to ensure they deliver products and services that meet business needs

  • Create and maintain a healthy environment for multi-disciplinary teams to excel

  • Ensure the team clearly communicate their plans and progress using recognised agile practices

  • Support the strategic planning and road-mapping of our services

  • Manage issues, risks and dependencies by adhering to good project management practices

  • Lead and help coordinate the delivery team on a day-day basis, ensuring blockers and issues are owned and resolved promptly.

  • Facilitate planning, helping the team to plan the activities to deliver outcomes for the short-term and longer-term.

  • Be an Agile/Scrum expert for internal and external stakeholders. Help foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement in the team and the wider organisation

Required candidate experience:

  • A background in Agile Delivery across the whole lifecycle of technical projects/software development

  • A strong experience in Agile scrum methodologies and delivering software in Agile teams

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken word with an ability to successfully engage with managers and stakeholders at all levels within a business

  • Helping identify priorities and aligning to the business strategy

  • Identifying continuous improvement opportunities and embedding them within the team

  • Manage backlogs and plan sprints

  • Operating as a Scrum Master, leading Scrum ceremonies

  • Experience supporting teams at various stages of the software lifestyle

  • Experience engaging with a broad range of stakeholders and highlight product dependencies

  • Agile/Scrum qualification

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 Per annum
