​Application Support Analyst - Team Leader

​An excellent opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours based in Uckfield, East Sussex who are currently looking to recruit an Application Support Analyst – Team Leader who will be working in a team to support, and manage their bespoke internal systems and its user base.

​

Your key responsibilities will be:

​

• Perform technical activities and end-user support as required

• Work with IT Operations to fully align the performance plans of staff to achieve organisational objectives and evaluate performance accordingly

• Build a productive working environment through constructive, regular and timely feedback and by ensuring appropriate involvement, delegation and monitoring of staff

• Provide regular communication updates to direct reports, and other IT team members where appropriate.

• Encourage a culture of accountability, trust, managed conflicted, commitment, results, coaching, professional development and self-improvement

• Adhere to, and ensure that the IT Operations team adhere to relevant service level expectations as agreed and provide appropriate reporting to management

• Ensure that regular monthly security/permission level audits are undertaken for all systems

• Internal & external relationships and communication are managed effectively

Qualification and essential skills required:

• Experience in an application support or similar role.

• Experience providing support of bespoke systems.

• Ability to read and white structured query language (SQL).

• Data manipulation using Excel and/or ETL tools.

• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills

• A positive and can-do attitude with confidence to manage own workload

Desirable skills:

• Experience of managing team

• ITIL & Microsoft qualifications

• Knowledge of Microsoft Forms, Power BI & Power Automate
