Business Intelligence Developers - Multiple positions at various levels

Location: Home Based opportunity with occasional travel to Glasgow

​

RBW have partnered with a Global Pharmaceuticals client and we are delighted to be able to share an opportunity for a number of experienced Business Intelligence Developers to work with them on a permanent basis.

​

You will be working within a team and take individual responsibility to take vast amounts of complex Data and to develop creative and effective ways for it to be viewed, used and understood by people at all levels within the business and with varying levels of technical ability/knowledge. This is a very busy environment and there’s always lots to do so you’ll need to be able to work with accuracy, at pace and under time pressure.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop and enhance reports, dashboards and visualizations for both internal and external customers.

• You will be responsible for the full Business Intelligence (BI) deliverable lifecycle including design, build, test, implement, maintain and support.

• You will be comfortable engaging with key stakeholders at different levels of the business (including external clients) in order to translate business requirements into technical requirements to enable you to implement BI solutions.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design, develop and maintain ongoing bespoke metrics, reports and dashboards to drive forwards key business decisions.

• You should be comfortable providing training and support to ensure full understanding and full utilization of delivered BI solutions.

Essential skills and experience for Business Intelligence Developers include as a minimum:

• At least 3 years within a similar role as a BI Developer

• Experience with BI solution flows, interactivity, design and layout

• Hands on familiarity of data, transformation and analysis at scale

• Strong BI solution development skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Ability to define and translate requirements for effective BI solutions.

• Technical environment includes - PowerBI, Tableau, Spotfire, R, SQL, SaaS

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 Per annum - Basic salary (DOE) plus generous benefits package and long term career opportunities.
