​Front End Web Developer

Location: Uckfield, East Sussex

An excellent opportunity has arisen within a field leading client of ours based in Uckfield, who are currently looking for a Front End Web Developer to add to their growing team.

The Role:

So, we are ideally looking for an excellent baker to keep the team well fed, but honestly, we would prefer you were a Front End Developer who has the skills and experience to deliver the ongoing development & maintenance of our core business platform. Working alongside the Developers, Product Analysts, Testers and Support Analysts you will act as a subject matter expert regarding the application. You will demonstrate your skills by creating mock designs to share with the Product Analysts and Stakeholders, taking feedback on board to make any necessary changes or amendments. Working within the Agile team you will participate in change boards, planning, design, and Agile ceremonies

Your Experience:

You would have previous experience building a user focussed web-based application and come from a commercial background, in addition you will have experience of delivery using modern front end JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and Vue as well as modern JavaScript tooling including NPM, Sass and Webpack. Ultimately you need to be a team player and have experience of working in an Agile development team and we need to you to have worked with the Azure Platform and DevOps workflow. Lastly you must have Test Driven development experience, ideally Jest.
