Pharmaceutical Team Lead - Healthcare Communications

​A fantastic opportunity for a Director to join a specialist healthcare communication consultancy; you will drive growth, manage key pharmaceutical & life science accounts, and develop the team. 

Working with some fantastic Pharma and Bio-tech clients, you will work on various unique communication projects with a blend of PR, Public Affairs, market access and marketing strategy to develop and deliver first-class strategy and tactics. 

In line with the organisation's growth plan, you will support the CEO to identify areas that will enable the company to continue to expand; by developing and growing the client services team and highlighting the need for any extra resources, including recruiting contractors. Leading on pitches and proactively seeking new business, you will bring on new clients and deliver new business opportunities to existing accounts. 

 Requirements:

• Broad strategic communication experience

• Client Services lead in a pharmaceutical communications agency or consultancy

• Clear and confident communicator

• Demonstrable experience pitching for and winning new business

• Able to build strong relationships with key accounts

• Understanding of PR, PA, and Market Access

• Outstanding business and financial acumen; leading on forecasting, planning, and budgeting

• Team management experience: leading the team to deliver the highest quality of works on time and budget
