Senior Director of Clinical Operations

Location: Southern California

RBW has partnered with an impressive small biotechnology company in Southern California to identify their next Senior Director of Clinical Operations.

Having recently seen one of their lead products gain FDA approval, our client is looking for a senior Clinical Operations leader with extensive late phase experience in Phase IIIb/IV to help plan and execute the company’s first post-market study. In this role, you will be asked to contribute to the company’s Phase IV process development as the company plans an expansion into other indications.

Reporting into the VP of Clinical Operations and working closely with the Medical Affairs Director, you will work closely with all other involved functions and vendors to ensure timelines and budgets are met for all assigned studies. As an individual contributor with no direct reports, your goal will be to ensure that the company’s clinical strategies and trial-specific protocols are successfully developed into operational plans for assigned studies and are properly executed.

As the ideal candidate, you will have previous success serving in a Director position, with a degree in life science or related and 10+ years of experience working in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or CRO space. Experience working on or managing Phase IIIb/IV studies is highly preferred. Candidates should be located in California.
