Sr. Bioinformatics Data Scientist

Our client is seeking an experienced Bioinformatics Data Scientist with at 3-5 years of experience within Life Science. Their primary focus is developing therapies for infectious diseases.

​

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and CRISPR technology. This position will be a hybrid of remote and in-person.

​

• PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related fields.

• Experience with CRISPR technology and software

• 5+ years of Life Science experience

• Programming experience with Python, Spark, Scala, R, SQL, or MatLab

• Proven track record of solving complex data problems

• Strong experience with DNA/RNA data modeling & analysis

• Experience with biological data, specifically large-scale sequencing and/or genotyping data is preferred
